If your damage deposit was indicated to be collected offsite from the CanadaStays site, you will need to contact the property owner in regards to this matter.

If CanadaStays had indicated that the deposit will be collected by the system at the time of booking, you will receive a notification within a 7 day period after the trip has been completed. The notification will indicate that the deposit will be refunded shortly or if the owner has opened a claim for the deposit.
