When you submit an inquiry there is no money involved, nor any dates requested. An inquiry is a way to get in touch with an owner to ask any questions you may have prior to putting through a booking request. When you put through a booking request, your funds are put on hold, and your credit card will be charged if your request is accepted. The owner has 24 hours to respond to your booking request, and if needed, they may extend their vetting time by an additional 24 hours once. Please note that for properties that are instant book, you will be charged at the time of booking and you will receive instant confirmation for your reservation.
